Project Eternity is the name given to our year round missions giving program at FBCH. It is our conviction that supporting mission work all over the world through participating in mission activities both here in Hayden and internationally, praying for missionaries and mission teams, and financially supporting their work is a part of the Great Commission.
We believe that our church can financially contribute more money to mission activities when we give a fixed amount, above and beyond our normal giving to the church, out of each paycheck. Therefore, we ask each of our church members, after discussion with their family, to decide how much God would have them give to Project Eternity.
The monies contributed to our Project Eternity fund are then distributed as follows:
- 50% goes to the Lottie Moon offering to support international missions
- 30% goes to the Annie Armstrong offering to support North American missions
- 20% stays in house to help offset the cost members of FBCH incur for participating in a short term mission trip. This money, combined with a designated amount from the church budget is available to any member of our church that feels the calling of God on their lives to participate in a mission trip both locally and abroad.
