Keith Hudson
Senior Pastor

My wife, JoAnn and I are best friends and we met when we were both students at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.; it was called Liberty Baptist College or LBC at that time.  We attended a Spring Banquet, (Liberty didn’t allow dances back then) and we were seated at the same table, I was with my date and she was with hers, and all I could think was, “man I wish I could trade places with that guy.”  A few months later, we both landed spots on one of the LBC traveling teams, she was a singer and I was one of the tech guys. Over that year of travel, we got to know one another and eventually started dating.  After college, we were married, and we now have four adult children and seven grandchildren.  You should come and hear the noise in our house on Friday nights when we all get together.  Personally, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping and travel (when I can do it) but mostly hanging out with my grandkids, dancing and singing (we allow dancing in my house) and generally being a big kid with a bunch of little kids keeps me young at heart.  As a pastor, drilling deeply into the Word of God and then sharing the nuggets of golden truth that I find there with those hungry for the Bread of Life is an honor and a passion that burns deep inside.  Jesus is the best thing that has ever happened to me and He commands my heart from first to last.  He gave me my family and the church I pastor, and I could not be more grateful.

Kids Ministry Director

My husband Wes and I met when I was part of an outreach team that visited him and his family from our church. His family joined the church and we later married in 2001. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary education in 2004 and had my first son later that year. We had two more children and I was a stay at home mom for 10 years before I joined the staff in 2015. Building a strong foundation of Christian views and scripture in the minds and hearts of our children is my purpose. In my spare time, I enjoy working in my skincare/cosmetic home studio.

Student Pastor

Growing up I would pit my Ninja Turtles against my Transformers and tell epic stories about their battles.  Around my senior year of High School, God radically saved me from my sin and sent me down a path where my love of play and story would coalesce into professional ministry.  Now I get to tell the greatest story ever to 7th-12th grade students each week and have a lot of fun doing it.  At home I get to play make believe, read stories, and make awesome voices for my twins.  The most wonderful woman in the entire world has joined me in this journey as my wife and we’ve created a pretty awesome story along the way.  I look forward to seeing how God’s story of redemption continues to unfold at FBC Hayden!
